The January 2025 Regular Monthly Meeting will take place on February 5th, 2025 starting at 7pm.

The meeting will be held at the Southend Community Center located at 1464 George St, Sydney, NS (The old Mira Road School)

The agenda includes Correspondence, Treasurer, and Committee Reports. We will also have the draw for the 3 CUPE 759 Bursary Draws.

The Oct 2024 regular monthly meeting will be held on 13 Nov 2024 starting at 7pm at the CUPE 759 Office located at the rear of 1489 George St, Sydney, NS

Just a reminder that the 759 Bargaining Survey is due tomorrow Thursday 12 Sept 2024. If you have it completed please give it to your shop steward or a member of the executive. If you did not receive one, or lost it, there is a copy attached to this post that you can print. Thanks for your feedback.

There will be a Regular Monthly Meeting and a Nomination Meeting for the office of President on Wednesday May 1st, 2024 at 7pm.

The meeting will be held at the CUPE 759 Office that is located upstairs at the rear of 1489 George St, Sydney.

At this time we would like to inform our membership that Kevin Ivey has resigned his position as president of CUPE 759. He accepted a supervisor position in CBRM North. We wish Kevin all the best in his new position and thank him for his years for service to CUPE 759.

There will be a special monthly meeting on 08 November 2023 at the Dobson Yacht Club 600 Westmount Road starting at 7pm.

There will be a rally in front of the Civic Center on Tuesday 12 Sept 2023 starting at 5:30pm.

The rally is to show CBRM council that CUPE 759 will not stand for contracting out of CBRM Solid Waste.

It is very important for all members to attend!

The Febuary 2023 regular monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday Febuary 22nd, 2023 at the CUPE 759 Office (Upstairs of Regional Chirporactic Rear Entrance 1498 George Street, Sydney, NS).

Please note that the start time has changed to 7:00pm.
