The bursary draws took place at our January monthly meeting.

The January regular monthly meeting will be held at the CENTENNIAL ARENA upstairs. Discussion on the PROVINCIAL PENSION PLAN and a draw for the 3 CUPE 759 BURSARIES will take place. ALL MEMBERS ARE URGED TO ATTEND.

CUPE 759 Bursary application deadline is January 15, 2017. You can find the application and more information under the Resources tab and select Bursary application.

There will be a regular monthly meeting on Wednesday September 28, 2016 at the Centennial Arena starting at 7pm. This will also be a nomination meeting for the offices of Vice President and Recording Secretary. There will also be a Pension Update.

The last regular meeting before the summer break will be held on Wednesday 25 May 2016 at the upstairs meeting room of the Centennial Arena starting at 7pm.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this month’s regularly scheduled meeting to be held on March 30, 2016 has been cancelled.

The Pension Meeting will now be held tonight at 7pm. The location has been changed to the CUPE Office at 500 George Street in Sydney. We apologize for the last minute change. Can you please notify any members that you know.

There will be a Special Meeting on February 10, 2016 @ 7pm at the Bicentennial Rink (Upstairs). This meeting will be a Pension Information Session. All members are urged to attend.

Our three annual bursaries were drawn for at our regular monthly meeting held on 27 January 2016. We had 16 applications and we are pleased to announce the following winners:

1. The Calvin Michalik Bursary in the amount of $500.00 awarded to Jordan Boudreau

2. The John Bersuk Bursary in the amount of $500.00 awarded to Victoria Ivey

3. The CUPE 759 Bursary in the amount of $500.00 awarded to Victoria Nicole Budden
