The February 2019 Monthly meeting date has changed.

The regularly scheduled date has changed from Wednesday February 27, 2019 to Tuesday February 26, 2019.

The time and location has not changed and the meeting will be held at C200 in the McDonald Room at 7pm.

East Division Area VP

Anyone working in the East Division interested in becoming the Area VP for East Division can contact Kevin Ivey or Tracy Rudderham to put their name forth.

The names of the interested people will be announced at the November Monthly meeting and posted on Facebook page and our Cupe Website.

In the event there is more than one interested person; an election will be held in the East at a later date.

CUPE 759 Bursary Applications for the Sept 2018 to June 2019 term

CUPE LOCAL 759 will be awarding three, five hundred dollar ($500.00) bursaries annually starting in January 2012. The bursaries will be awarded by CUPE Local 759 to a member, spouse, son, daughter, step-daughter, grandson/ granddaughter or ward attending a post-secondary institution (university, trade, private college) fulltime (September 2018 to June 2019 term).

The three awards will be chosen by a draw held at the January 2019 monthly meeting.

The Bursary Application deadline is January 15, 2019.

The executive of Local 759 would like to welcome Darryl McNeill as the new Vice President.. We look forward to working with Darryl in representing the membership.

Great turn out at the meeting – 83 members came out to vote.

October 2018 Regular Monthly Meeting and Election for Vice President

The October 2018 regular monthly meeting and election for Vice President will be held on Thursday November 1st 2018. The meeting will be held on this date because of Halloween falling on our regular meeting date. The meeting will be held in the MacDonald Room at C200 (use the players entrance at the back of C200).

New Collective Agreement Signed

The new collective agreement has finally been signed today 21 Aug 2018. The new collective agreement can be found under the Resources Tab and by selecting Collective Agreement. We will be sending paper copies out to our Shop Stewards in the next few days.
